B.C. Parks Fixed-Roof Accommodations Policy

In 2003, British Columbia's Parks Act was amended to allow resort and tourism development within Provincial Parks. To learn more about this policy and the potential threat it poses to protected areas in British Columbia, click the icons below:

 

 

If you clicked on the Status Report Icon above, you'll see that no proposals have been submitted for fixed-roof accommodation at the Sovereign Lake Nordic Center within Silver Star Provincial Park. B.C. Parks, however is still soliciting for written proposals from commercial or non-commercial individuals or organizations. The Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, which operates the Sovereign Lake Nordic Center, did not submit a proposal.
